    Understanding BioClear Restorative Techniques

As professionals, the staff at Parkhill Dentistry are always looking to expand their knowledge to give our patients the best treatment possible with many different options for treatment available.  Recently Dr.Ashraf and her assistant Sarah traveled to Seattle, Washington to continue their education in a hands-on lecture in BioClear matrix techniques. This course provided them with the education needed to provide our patients with advanced techniques and give them the smile they have always dreamed of.

    What is Bioclear?

BioClear is a groundbreaking dental restoration technique that relies on the use of patented polymer matrices as well as tooth-colored resin to reconstruct and restore teeth. This technique is non-invasive and doesn’t damage the natural teeth. The best thing about BioClear is that the procedure can be completed in a single visit. The BioClear technique is very new and only a handful of dentists are BioClear-certified in Canada. We are proud to be one of the few BioClear certified dentists to help our patients achieve the smile of their dream.

What are the Benefits of BioClear?

Non-Invasive: Traditional methods of teeth reconstruction require the grounding down of damaged teeth. BioClear simply adds to the teeth without taking anything away.

Very Durable: With proper care, the new bond can last years.

Looks totally natural: By colour matching to the exact shade of your teeth, BioClear is virtually seamless causing the cosmetic/restorative work to keep the natural look to your teeth intact

Cost Effective: It is cheaper than many major restorative options such as porcelain veneers.

Fast: The procedure can be done within one visit.

    Is BioClear right for me?

Teeth are amazingly strong, but they are still subject to problems. There are multiple reasons a person may be dissatisfied with the look of their teeth. We recommend BioClear veneers to help with teeth that are:

    -Chipped

    -Misshapen

    -Gapped

    -Worn

    -Discoloured

BioClear is a fantastic addition to cosmetic dentistry which focuses on improving the appearance of teeth, gums, and overall smile aesthetics. Additional procedures for cosmetic dentistry can include teeth whitening, BioClear and Invisalign. These treatments address issues like discoloration, chipped teeth, gaps, and misalignments. While primarily aesthetic, many procedures also enhance oral function, tooth health and boosts confidence. Modern advancements, such as BioClear make cosmetic dentistry more accessible, ensuring natural-looking and long-lasting results.
